Christopher Barrow has been working in the beer industry for 20 years. He gained his experience on the markets in Africa, Asia, Central and South America as well as in Europe. In March 2007 he was appointed Grupa Żywiec’s President of the Board. Barrow graduated from The University in Cape Town, South Africa and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa).

„The nomination for the President of ZPPP is an honor for me. The current downturn in the Polish beer market, as a result of increased costs of production, recent increase in excise tax and the negative influence of the financial crisis as well as the responsibility the industry has to address negative influences of alcohol consumption, present interesting challenges.” – said Christopher Barrow, the newly appointed President of the Board.

ZPPP is the largest beer industry organization in Poland and unities the leading brewers in Poland. Poland is the 4th largest market in Europe with a volume of over 35 mln hl. Christopher Barrow replaces Maciej Rybicki as the President of ZPPP.
