Voluntary social responsibility labels - on each and every packaging and in every commercial!
Objectives
From May 2011, distinctive labels “I Never Drink and Drive” and “18 - Alcohol for Adults Only” are featured interchangeably on all individual and collective packaging of beer from member breweries of the Union as well as in all audio-visual commercials and ads, mainly those aired on television and in movie theatres. Labels account for 10% of the surface and are broadcast for 10% of air time. Members of the Union began to use these labels well in advance. By the late April 2008, distinctive “keys” were featured on beer bottles and cans, while the “18” label debuted in commercials in July 2010. Labels mark a voluntary initiative of the sector as their application is not required by provisions of the law.
